When Art Meets Avoidance...
Procraftinate is what happens when a lifelong maker finally stops trying to choose just one creative lane. I’ve always been the kind of person who can’t sit still without a project in my hands — drawing patterns, crafting fun‑fold cards, tinkering with my laser, sewing something colorful, painting something weird, wiring something that probably shouldn’t light up (but does!), or experimenting with whatever new craft catches my eye. If it involves tools, textures, colors, or imagination, I’m probably already elbows‑deep in it.

This shop is the home for all of that creative chaos — the hand‑drawn patterns and clip art, the print‑on‑demand goodies, the digital downloads, and the occasional one‑of‑a‑kind handmade piece that pops up when inspiration strikes. Procraftinate has been an on‑again‑off‑again dream for nearly twenty years. It once went by “Delightful Disasters,” but the name Procraftinate finally captured the full spectrum of what I create: quirky, spooky, sweet, trendy, and everything in between.

The vibe here is a little unpredictable in the best way — strange and spooky one moment, soft and sweet the next. I like to think there’s something for everyone, but nothing you’ll find everywhere. My art is guided by instinct and curiosity rather than a single aesthetic box. I create what feels right, what feels fun, and what feels like me… which means it’s allowed to be multifaceted, a little weird, and always genuine.

At its heart, Procraftinate is a boutique space built on creativity, individuality, and the joy of making things that make people smile. I hope you find something here that feels fun, unique, and a little bit magical — the kind of piece you can’t wait to show someone and say, “Look what I found.”

And yes… the tagline is absolutely literal. These are the things I do when I probably should be doing something else.

The Heart Behind the Art
Hi! I’m Vega — the artist, maker, and professional “I can totally do that” person behind Procraftinate. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never been able to limit myself to just one medium. Drawing, crafting, building, tinkering, experimenting… it’s all part of who I am. Creativity has always been my favorite way to express myself, unwind, and connect with others.

I’m a mom to an incredibly smart, wonderfully unique teen named Lyric, who keeps me laughing, learning, and inspired. He’s a science‑loving, game‑coding, future‑mycologist with a mind that never stops exploring — and being his mom has helped me embrace my own individuality even more. We’re both ADHD‑powered, which means time management is a team sport, and creativity tends to happen in bursts of hyperfocus, late‑night ideas, and “wait, what if we tried this?” moments.

Our home is also ruled by three pets with very big personalities. Our dog, Bruno, is a cuddle‑obsessed social butterfly. HiJinx (cat) is a sweet, anxious boy who melts into snuggles when he feels safe. And the eldest but smallest, Pumpkin (cat), is the tiny queen of the house — sassy, demanding, and fiercely devoted to “her boy.” Most of my art is created from the couch with at least one of them curled up on me, supervising.

Outside of crafting, I’m happiest spending time with my big, close‑knit family — dinners, game nights, vacations, and the kind of everyday moments that make life feel full. That sense of connection, humor, and warmth shows up in my art, too.
Procraftinate is my creative playground, but it’s also a reflection of the life I love: colorful, quirky, heartfelt, a little chaotic, and always evolving. I’m so glad you’re here to be part of it.
